how do you describe something close but far?

would it be a butterfly that slips through your grasp?

would it be an ever entagling glance that can't be returned

or an ever so slight kiss when no ones around that pricks the soul if it continues

when a wind blows the the hair of a loved one and leaves a scent that is forever recollected?

do you know when you see it?

a dazzling dance of light that encumbers you when it hits the hue of her hair

that can only pull you deeper in the abyss with a relenting pull that reminds you of gravity.

i challege you to inhabit your thoughts to gain that semblence that once exhisted

the one that made you escape reality to imagine that first kiss that did not feel like a thousand others.

why is what could be a symbol of what should or shouldn't?

long lasting feelings shouldn't be wasted but cherished in that chamber that may require recessitation

enjoy the many moments that are spent in dubious places

moments may lead to reconsideration that nullify the attempt at what could be.
